Fox Valley Technical College (FVTC) is a national leader in providing employee education and training, serving 1600 employers annually with contracted services. Businesses can partner with FVTC for employee assessments, customized training, seminars and continuing education. Industries and categories served include business, management and finance; transportation; manufacturing and customer service, sales and marketing. FVTC also offers more than 200 associate degrees, technical diplomas, certificates and apprenticeship programs.

FVTC has integrated the MIT Fab Lab model into a unique network of Fab Labs and a growing portfolio of innovation offerings and services to drive academic excellence, invention, intellectual property, economic, and sustainable technology development in the region, while preparing 21st century learners for new careers in the global, knowledge economy. Wisconsin Fast Forward Training Grants – Wisconsin provides Training Grants to assist businesses in workforce retention and expansion into new markets and technology. The program provides grant funds to businesses to upgrade or improve the job-related skills of its full-time employees. Grant funds may be approved for eligible training and provided to existing and new employees in full-time jobs.

Workforce Advancement Training (WAT) grants promote increased investment in the development of incumbent workers and expand technical college training services to help businesses and industry meet their training needs. Grants will be awarded to upgrade the skills and productivity of employees of established businesses and industries operating in Wisconsin, with the broader objective of supporting regional workforce and economic development efforts.
