Future Fox Cities is a Career Expo linking regional employers and students with a goal of developing partnerships between education and industry, defining career pathways for students, and developing career-based learning opportunities and employer talent pipelines.
This is a 2-day event at the Fox Cities Exhibition Center and featuring a wide variety of employer booths for students to visit and plunge into engaging and interactive experiences and conversations with regional employers and career professionals.
Students receive information on career opportunities, expected starting salaries and job titles, skills and interests of employees, supporting high school coursework, and any post-high school training or education needed for that employer/job.
Employers offer information about career-based learning opportunities available at their organization such as job shadowing, informational interviews, classroom visits, company tours, internships, summer employment, part-time employment, school-to-work pathways, youth apprenticeships, and more. These days provide up close and personal career exploration for students to realize what career opportunities exist in their own backyards.
